Epcot in Orlando Florida
Monorail
Welcome to Epcot,
a theme park designed
to both entertain and educate.

It was October 1 1982 when ground broke as
Disney’s second Theme Park
opened,  deemed to be the largest in the world,
until 1988  when Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened.

“Epcot” was then connected via monorail to the familiar Magic Kingdom theme park.

Epcot is almost twice the size of the Magic Kingdom, so prepare yourself  for lots of walking, comfortable shoes a must.

You really won't be able to see it all in one day, but if that's all the time you have, then you need to plan carefully and choose the areas and rides that you particularly want to go on or see.

There is plenty of space for parking outside of the park. Trams then take you to the main entrance of Epcot where you enter the turnstiles and find yourself right in front of Spaceship Earth.

Epcot consists of two themed areas, Future World and World Showcase.

Future World features attractions that focus on energy, communication, health, the land and our environment, the ocean, imagination, transportation and space exploration, whereas.

World Showcase is centered around a beautiful lagoon, representing 11 countries. Each country providing an introudction into their unique cultures. You can sample their cuisine, shop for native wares and enjoy performances, exhibits, movies or rides of  each nation. On your voyage from one country to another you will  be immersed into the atmosphere that each country has to offer.

There is a presentation every evening just before the park closes, which is called  "Illuminations-Reflections of Earth". This is a spectacular Firework Display which is centered around the World Showcase Lagoon where fireworks, lasers and dancing fountains display a choreographed, musical performence. (Make sure you dont leave the park early and hang around for this show)

Epcot Centre really is a must see during your visit to
Orlando's Walt Disney World
