Florida’s Sunshine State has some of the best beaches in the world:

Florida has around 8,400 miles of coastal shoreline, from snow white coloured beaches, sand dunes and shell lined sands.  Florida has 43 beaches which are certified  “Blue Wave Beaches” by the Clean Beaches Council due to their cleanliness, safety, and warning systems.  Remember wherever you decided to stay in Florida you are never really more than 60 miles from anyone of its spectacular beaches.

Swimming in Florida's crystel clear waters

To make sure your beach vacation is enjoyable and safe you need to be aware of its amazing wildlife.

Never Leave Children or Pets Alone Near Water

Make sure that your children swim within the designated areas and where applicable where the correct safety jackets.  Most of the time the water at most of the Floriday beaches is safe for swimming. There is a Healthy Beaches Programme that monitors the quality of the water.
